Hellenic Petroleum sees 2018 EBITDA topping 1 billion euros, CEO says
Core profit at Hellenic Petroleum, Greece's biggest oil refiner, is expected to top 1 billion euros ($1.2 billion) this year, the company's chief executive said on Sunday.
Core profit, or earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), including oil inventory holdings, came in at 851 million euros last year.
Bulgaria's Monbat Cons Pre-tax Profit Falls in H1
SOFIA (Bulgaria), July 25 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Monbat [BUL:5MB] said on Wednesday its consolidated pre-tax profit fell by 75.3% year-on-year to 3.5 million levs ($2.1 million/1.8 million euro) in the first half of 2018.

Pace of credit contraction increases in April
The funding deficit is growing in the Greek economy, as there was a sharper credit contraction in April, data from the Bank of Greece showed on Tuesday.
The pace of financing Greek households and enterprises stood at -1.9 percent last month, from -1 percent in March and -0.9 percent in February.

Turnover and jobs growth at Athens Medical in 2017
Listed Athens Medical Group has announced that 2017 group turnover came to 169.2 million euros, a 1 percent increase on the previous year.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to 23.5 million euros, slightly up on 2016.
For the second consecutive year the group's after tax results showed profits of 2.7 million euros.

Lamda reports jump in 2017 earnings
ATHEX blue chip company Lamda Development reported on Wednesday that its full-year earnings before interest, tax depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased by 19.3 percent in 2017 to 51.2 million euros, boosted by The Mall Athens's 50 percent acquisition.

Technical checks for the two DESFA bids
Greek authorities have started assessing the technical aspects of the two bids for a stake in natural gas network operator DESFA, while the financial offers will be opened on March 9.
All signs point to the price for 66 percent of DESFA topping 400 million euros, although that will also depend on the company's cash reserves when the transaction is completed.

ELPE profit slides in Q4 2017
Hellenic Petroleum (ELPE), Greece's biggest oil refiner, on Thursday reported a 21 percent drop in fourth-quarter core profit due to weaker refining margins.
The refiner said earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), adjusted for oil inventory holdings, came in at 170 million euros, down from 215 million euros in the same period a year earlier.

Criteria for automatic debt settlement scheme
Businesses with debts of between 20,000 and 50,000 euros will need to neet all three criteria set for their inclusion in the automatic extrajudicial debt settlement mechanism, according to a joint decision issued by the ministers of finance and labor, which has been sent to the country's creditors for approval.
