The motion was signed by all 40 MPs from the Democratic Party of Socialists, the Social Democratic Party, the Liberal Party, the Social Democrats, the Bosniak Party and two ethnic Albanian coalitions of parties.

Krivokapic said that economic stability and European Union membership must be the key goals of the new government - which unlike the current non-partisan cabinet, will be made up of political party officials, as the Democratic Front and Democratic Montenegro have demanded.

In a joint statement on Thursday, the Democratic Front, DF, and Democratic Montenegro said the new cabinet should have both non-party and party ministers.

His dismissal was supported by the votes of 43 opposition MPs and ruling Black on White coalition MPs. The other two ruling majority blocs, For the Future of Montenegro and Peace is Our Nation, did not support his dismissal.

In the elections in Nikisic, the three blocs comprising the current ruling majority in parliament won 23 of the 41 seats in the assembly. The For the European Niksic coalition, led by the Djukanovic's DPS, won 18.

The leader of the "For the Future of Montenegro" bloc, Zdravko Krivokapic, was elected Prime Minister by 41 votes in the 81-seat chamber. MPs elected the leader of the Black on White coalition, Dritan Abazovic, as Deputy Prime Minister.

On Thursday, media published that the leader of the liberal Black-on-White coalition, Dritan Abazovic, had proposed an agreement asking the future government to pass a Law of on the Examination of the Origin of Property and a Law on Lustration.
