French President Emmanuel Macron on Dec. 21 faced accusations of siding with sexual aggressors after saying film icon Gerard Depardieu, charged with rape and facing a litany of sexual assault claims, was the target of "a manhunt."

French actor Gerard Depardieu, who is facing a series of sexual assault allegations, is to sell much of his art collection worth an estimated 3-5 million euros, his auctioneers announced on June 15.

The 74-year-old is at the center of an ongoing rape investigation and the press has recently reported on several new sexual misconduct allegations.

World-renowned French actor Gerard Depardieu has been spotted vacationing in Istanbul as he was photographed while leaving a seafood restaurant in the Beyoğlu district.

As per reports, the 73-year-old celebrity has been in Istanbul for the last five days.

France's biggest international star Gerard Depardieu on Aug. 30 issued a strong denial after it emerged he faces an inquiry into allegations by a young actress of rape and sexual assault.

French actor Gerard Depardieu, who had been in the southern Turkish province of Antalya to attend the closing ceremony of the 54th Antalya Film Festival, canceled his program on the day of the ceremony and decided to visit Istanbul instead.

Action movie legend Steven Seagal has been barred from Ukraine and marked a “threat to national security” over his cosy friendship with Vladimir Putin. The Ukrainian government decided Saturday to ban the work of 13 artists after they were deemed as a national threat to the security of the country. The lists includes Russian artists and supporters of Vladimir Putin’s policies in the eastern Ukraine.

Ukraine has banned French actor Gerard Depardieu from entering the country for five years, its state security service said on July 29, apparently for making comments that suggested he supported Russia's annexation of Crimea last year. 

French actor Gerard Depardieu who holds a Russian passport has been banned from entering Ukraine by the country’s Security Services for 5 years. Depardieu, who is a fervent supporter of Russia had made statements in the past saying that Ukraine was part of the Russian federation.
