Turkish defense company to develop software for NATO
A Turkish defense company STM has won two NATO tenders to develop software for an information flow system.
STM stated that the tenders are related to the projects of the NATO Communications and Information Agency's project for the direction, collection, processing, and dissemination of intelligence.
Turkey defeats Spain, wins European amputee football championship
Turkey sealed a back-to-back European championship title after the national amputee football team defeated Spain 6-0 in Sept. 19's final.
Turkey clinched the trophy with goals from Ömer Güleryüz (3), Kemal Güleş (2), and Rahmi Özcan at Cracovia Stadium in Krakow, Poland.
They dominated the tournament by scoring 36 goals and conceding only two.
Police catch father who stabbed two sons to death, wounded third in Istanbul
Istanbul police apprehended on Aug. 9 a man who stabbed two of his sons to death and wounded the third early in the morning.
The man, identified as Aslan Güleryüz, reportedly engaged in a brawl with his three sons at their residence in the Yavuztürk neighborhood of the Üsküdar district.
