Togg to produce 1 mln vehicles by 2032: Minister
Türkiye's first electric carmaker Togg will produce a total of 1 million vehicles by 2032, Industry and Technology Minister Fatih Kacır has said.
Some 97 percent of those vehicles will be sold to consumers while the public institutions will buy the remaining 3 percent, the minister told a group of journalists.

Togg market leader in C-SUV segment
Togg, Türkiye's first indigenous electric car maker, sold 808 T10X model vehicles as of the end of June, making the company the market leader in the electric C-SUV segment.
The company delivered 808 vehicles in May and June and captured a share of 28.9 percent in the local C-SUV market.
Togg's T10X model's share in the overall SUV market was 15 percent.

Local electric car Togg given tax advantage

TOGG among best 20 brands showed at CES
Turkey's Automobile Initiative Group (TOGG) has been picked as one of the best 20 brands showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas earlier this month.
"Prestigious sectoral magazine Exhibitor has chosen TOGG one of the best 20 brands of CES among 2,300 participants," TOGG said on its Twitter account.

Police investigate ‘suspicious’ death of chief expert at TÜBİTAK
Police have launched a probe into the "suspicious" death of a researcher at the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), who was found dead in her house in Istanbul's Tuzla district.
The 37-year-old Dilek Dündar Erbahar is alleged to have committed suicide by drinking insecticide, but the real cause of her death will be announced after an autopsy.

Initial body assembly of Turkey’s homegrown car completed
Turkey's Automobile Joint Venture Group (TOGG) has announced that it has successfully completed the initial body assembly of the country's first indigenous car on July 18.
"Our first body is assembled with all parts produced in our country," TOGG said on Twitter.
