Deputy PM Tomislav Donchev: Bulgaria Needs at least Eight New Industrial Zones

Bulgaria needs more industrial zones in the south and in the north, Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev told Prime Minister Boyko Borissov yesterday, as they both traveled to the industrial zone near Bozhurishte. According to him, Bulgaria needs 4-5 new zones in the north and up to 3 in the south.

Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture: 288 Guest Houses Funded with EU Money are Being Inspected

Some 288 guest houses are being inspected, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Desislava Taneva said in reference to the ongoing investigation ordered by Prime Minister Borissov into all guest houses in the country financed with EU funds, Focus News Agency reported. Minister Taneva said the inspections will continue until the end of June.

Bulgarian Interior Minister: No Need of Information Disclosure on Radicalised Pupil

The changing operational situation imposes the necessity of creating anti-terror centres in this country, Interior Minister Mladen Marinov said, reports BNT. 

Anti-terror centres are necessary, Marinov added, in order to concentrate and process information so that it can become most easily accessible and thus the actions taken be synchronized by all the institutions.

31 Projects on the Cross-Border Program with Serbia Have Been Approved

31 projects will receive a total of over EUR 8 million for the second call for the INTERREG-IPP Bulgaria-Serbia cross-border program 2014-2020, the regional ministry announced.

The funds are for initiatives to create sustainable tourism, youth support and environmental care.
