Turkish aircraft back in the Aegean
Turkish aircraft carried out five violations of Greek air space in the northeastern, central and southeastern Aegean Thursday, according to Greek defense officials who said that one mock dogfight occurred.
The transgressions involved four F-16s and two helicopters, according to the defense officials, who said two of the aircraft were armed.

Six Turkish aircraft, including 2 CN-235 reconnaissance airplane and 4 F-16 fighter jets violated Greek airspace a total of 43 times, Monday. The CN-235 aircraft entered the airspace over the Aegean Sea at a high altitude, while the 2 pairs of F-16s infringed on the Athens FIR, with two of them being armed.

Turkish fighter jets violated Greek air space in the northeastern, central and southeastern Aegean six times on Friday, leading to a mock dogfight between Greek and Turkish aircraft.

Turkish aircraft violated Greek national air space in the northeastern Aegean Friday, a new transgression following a brief lull in activity.
The aircraft - six F-16s flying in three formations and an S-70 helicopter - violated the Athens Flight Information Region four times.

Turkey continued to escalate its provocations towards Greece, as 14 Turkish military aircraft violated Greek airspace on Friday a day after more violations took place over the Aegean Sea. Twelve F-16 fighter jets, six of which were armed and two CN 235 reconnaissance violated Greek national airspace for 60 times, while another 8 infringements of the Athens FIR occurred.
