REICs anticipate pressure on low-standard properties
Real estate investment companies expect pressure on the housing market for 2023, especially on properties of lower specifications, but also a continuation of the upward trend of green office buildings and logistics infrastructures.

Slovenia’s Sinergise acquired by biggest observation satellite operator
The Ljubljana-based geographic information system (GIS) company Sinergise will be acquired by Planet, the San Francisco-based operator of the largest Earth observation fleet of imaging satellites. The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
Istanbul residents to be able to visit Göbeklitepe virtually
Istanbul residents will be able to visit Göbeklitepe, one of the first settlements in the world, thanks to a digital model twin of the ancient site made by an Istanbul Municipality subsidiary.
Göbeklitepe's digital model twin was obtained by calculating 1,800 photographs taken with an 80 percent overlap rate, with photogrammetry software that produces millimetric precision data.
The ViruSafe App Can Now be Downloaded for Free
Starting today, every citizen can download the mobile application for free to share their health status with the National Operations Headquarters, health authorities and their GP. The idea is to collect data on people's health. The application will necessarily include data from patients with confirmed COVID-19, regardless of how the disease developed - whether the person recovered or died.

Growth bill submitted to Parl't, to be discussed on Friday
A bill aimed at introducing measures to stimulate growth in Greece was submitted in Parliament late on Wednesday and is to be debated from Friday, Development and Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis said on Thursday.

The Icarian schoolboy who watched the night skies for NASA
It was a fine morning in the early 1960s when a parcel arrived at the high school in Aghios Kirykos on the eastern Aegean island of Icaria. It was addressed in a broad hand "To Mr Chrysostomos Fountoulis, Meteorologist." NASA was marked as the sender.
