Somalia's Shebab militants launch attack in central town of Baidoa: officials
Suspected members of Somalia's Al-Qaeda-affiliated Shebab militants on March 12 attacked a fortified area containing regional government headquarters, an airport and a United Nations compound in the central town of Baidoa, security officials said.

Five Dead in Mali Nightclub Attack
A machine-gun and grenade attack in Mali's capital Bamako has left five people dead, local police say.
Three European nationals, including one French and one Belgian, are among the victims.
Eight other people have been left wounded.
Witnesses quoted by Euronews say attackers yelled "Allahu Akbar" (Arabic for meaning "God is Great").
