Big investments afoot in malls

Greece has among the smallest densities of shopping malls in Europe, with 57 square meters per 1,000 inhabitants, just 6.7 percent that of first-place Norway (857 sq.m.) and less than fellow Balkan countries Bosnia-Herzegovina (98 sq.m.) and Serbia (88 sq.m.).

Turkish Embassy in Denmark Attacked with Petrol Bombs, No Injuries

At least two people attacked Turkey's embassy in Copenhagen with petrol bombs early on Monday causing some minor damage to the exterior of the building but no injuries, police in the Danish capital said, Reuters.

The building was empty at the time. 

Police were at the scene investigating and no one had been arrested, a police official told Reuters

A cyclist in the Amager district of Copenhagen discovered a defiled woman's body, her head, hands and legs were missing. Police link the case to the investigation of the mysteriously missing Swedish journalist Kim Wall, for which a search operation has been running since last Friday.

Varde Partners to buy 31.7 pct stake in Lamda Malls

Athens-listed Lamda Development said on Monday that global alternative investment firm Varde Partners will acquire 31.7 percent of Lamda Malls for 61.3 million euros.

Lamda Malls owns two Greek shopping malls.

Varde is keen to support expansion of Lamda Malls via acquisitions and new commercial developments.

Photographer of controversial Danish nudes speaks up against sexism! (pics)

One would think that Denmark would be free from sexual conventions, however Danish photographer Mathilde Grafström sparked a media firestorm when her photo exhibition at Nytorv Square, Copenhagen, titled “Female Beauty” was found to be “offensive”. Police closed down her show of nude, natural-looking women aimed at promoting a healthy body image and easing prudishness.

Danish nudist photographer Mathilde Grafström said her display of “Female Beauty” at Nytorv Square in Copenhagen was aimed at promoting positive image.
