Ηorses pushed from clifftop
Two horses were found dead at the bottom of cliffs in the Parnitha mountain range north of Athens.
On Saturday, the nonprofit Ippothesis Panhellenic Equine Welfare Society posted horrific images of the two horses found a few kilometers north of the municipality of Fyli by volunteers who feed stray animals in the area.

Panagiotopoulos visits military facilities on Limnos island
Defense Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos toured Armed Forces units on Limnos island on Monday and met with local and religious leaders as well.
Specifically, on the North Aegean island the minister paid a visit to the 130 Combat Group and met with readiness personnel at the base of fighter jets and helicopters.
More routes to begin in Athens-Thessaloniki train service on Monday
More routes will be added on Monday on the Athens-Thessaloniki train service where Greece's deadliest crash on record occurred on February 28.
Route operator Hellenic Train announced last week that two additional pairs of Intercity trains will restart services and new departure times will be added for better passenger service.
Man killed in Thessaloniki after heated argument
A 52-year-old man was killed on Saturday after arguing intensely with two people in Thessaloniki, northern Greece.
Police said it arrested two men in connection with the attack, aged 40 and 42.

State seeking demolition orders on Mykonos
The state is looking to execute demolition orders on the popular island of Mykonos which were finalized in previous years.
Given that the cases of the Principote and Nammos beach restaurants do not seem to lend themselves to immediate bulldozing, attention is turning to older cases.

Body found in port of Ermoupolis
The body of a man was found in the port of Ermoupolis on the island of Syros on Monday. According to information available to Kathimerini, it is a middle-aged man. The body was retrieved by a Hellenic Coast Guard vessel after an operation by divers.
