Elderly parents face Nafplio magistrate over murder of son
The parents of a 39-year-old food delivery worker whose burned remains were discovered in a car near the town of Astros in the Peloponnese last Friday faced an investigating magistrate in Nafplio in connection with his killing on Thursday with sources indicating that the 75-year-old father has admitted to murdering his son.

Coast guard find body of drowned monk off Mt Athos
A coast guard vessel on Wednesday recovered the body of a monk who had been missing since Tuesday night off the coast of Dafni, a small settlement on Mount Athos.
The monk went missing after the boat he had been in with two fellow monks capsized on Tuesday.
The other two monks were rescued by passing boats shortly after the vessel capsized.

Two missing men found shot dead near Kalamata
Two men who had been missing near Kalamata in the Peloponnese since Monday night have been found dead in a ravine 24 kilometers south of the city. Police sources said they had been shot and their bodies dumped there.
