6.1 earthquake hits off the coast of Japan
An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 has been detected off the coast of Japan.
The US Geological Survey said that the earthquake struck about 286km south east of Kamaishi, and around 321km east of Fukushima.
The depth of the earthquake, which struck at 2.37am local time, was measured at 10km. Details of any damage are yet to emerge.

At least two people have been killed and 18 others are missing in huge floods that are surging through southern Japan, with authorities warning hundreds of thousands of people to flee.
Unprecedented torrential rain has caused rivers to burst their banks, sweeping away roads and houses, and destroying schools.

Dance company "Izena no kai" to perform in Belgrade Oct 23
BELGRADE - The Japanese dance company "Izena no kai" will perform at the National Theater in Belgrade, the Japanese Embassy in Belgrade announced Tuesday.
"Izena no kai" was founded in 1988.
Since then, they have performed many times in Japan and around the world, always bringing the atmosphere of Okinawa and the Amami Islands onto the stage.
