Ex-KLA Fighters Surrender After Escape
Sami Lushtaku, Ismet Haxha and Sahit Jashari surrendered to the Kosovo Police on Thursday night, two days after they went on the run from a clinic in Pristina on Tuesday after refusing to be transferred to a prison in the northern town of Mitrovica.
The defendants surrendered in the hospital surroundings, where it is believed they had been hiding since their escape.

Petrovic:Northern municipalities' statutes will be approved
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Kosovo Minister of Administration and Local Self-Government Slobodan Petrovic told Tanjug on Friday that the Ministry will most likely approve the amendments to the statutes of the Serb-majority municipalities in northern Kosovo.
Amendments to northern Mitrovica municipal statute adopted
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Councillors of the northern Mitrovica City Assembly unanimously adopted on Thursday the amendments to the municipal statute at a closed session.
Councillor Nedzad Ugljanin told Tanjug that all 16 councillors who attended the session voted in favour of the amendments and the calling of new extraordinary elections was thus avoided.

Detention extended for Ivanović for two more months
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- Another two-month extension of detention on remand has been ordered for Oliver Ivanović, his lawyer Nebojša Vlajić, said over the weekend.
Ivanović is the leader of a political group gathering Serbs in northern Kosovo, the Citizens’ Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice (SDP).

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA – Another two-month extension of detention on remand has been ordered for Oliver Ivanovic, leader of the Citizens’ Initiative ‘Freedom, Democracy, Justice’ (SDP), Nebojsa Vlajic, his lawyer, said Saturday.
Vlajic told Tanjug that he will appeal the decision.

Attack on EULEX vehicles, reaction of Serbs, Office for KiM
