Insolvencies of trading companies and self-employed persons were 12.52 percent down in Q1 2020 from the same period of the year before, at 1,320, shows data released on the website of the National Trade Register Office (ONRC).

Number of cases of coronavirus increased by 18.9 pct in April 6-12 week over previous one
The number of cases of coronavirus infection increased in the April 6-12 week by 18.9 pct over the previous week, according to a weekly monitoring report published on the website of the National Public Health Institute. 51 pct of the cases recorded were in Suceava, Bucharest, Hunedoara, Timis and Neamt.

GCS: 4,057 people infected with new coronavirus in Romania
A number of 4,057 people have been confirmed so far in Romania with the new coronavirus, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) reported on Monday. Since the last information sent by GCS, 193 other cases of illness have been registered. Of the infected persons, 406 were declared cured and discharged. As many as 179 patients are admitted to intensive care units.
Record Jump of COVID-19 Infected in Romania - 445 New Cases for a Day
Romania's Health Minister Nelu Tătaru has announced that 445 new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of infected to 3,183, according to Digi24 TV.
The number of deaths from the coronavirus is 118. A total of 283 people have been declared cured and released by hospitals. Currently, 83 patients are undergoing intensive treatment.

Deaths due to coronavirus infection hits 78 in Romania
Six more people infected with the novel coronavirus have died in Romania, the death toll currently reaching 78, the Strategic Communication Group informs on Tuesday. It is about three men, aged 62, 68 and 57 - and three women - 69, 82 and 64 years old - all from Suceava County.
