Fitch affirms Bucharest municipality ratings at 'BBB-' with stable outlook

Fitch Ratings on Friday affirmed the Romanian City of Bucharest's Long-Term Local- and Foreign-Currency Issuer Default Ratings (IDRs) at 'BBB-' with stable outlook, according to a release of this financial rating agency.

Moreover, the rating agency also affirmed the Short-Term Foreign-Currency IDR at 'F3'.

Four Electronic Vignettes Devices Installed at Danube Bridge in Rousse

Four electronic vignetting devices have been launched on 4th of January at the Danube Bridge border crossing at Rousse. Some drivers, however, have difficulty working with the new machines, which has led to further delays in traffic in the area.

Within 10 minutes, three drivers were unable to get an electronic vignette from the new devices installed yesterday.

SOR: Siberian bird species, discovered in Dobrogea

Ornithologists have managed, for the first time in Romania, to take photos of a Siberian bird species - Richard's pipit (Anthus richardi).

The Romanian Ornithological Society (SOR) points out in a release sent to AGERPRES on Monday, that Richard's pipit (Anthus richardi) was noticed by the SOR preservation director, Ciprian Fantana, in the Techirghiol Lake area.
