Belgrade Schools to Have Security ‘Officers’ in Four Years
Goran Vesic, member of Belgrade provisional council, on March 3 announced that all schools in Belgrade will have at least one officer in charge of safety within the next four years.
The “school officers” will undergo special training and work in communication with the local police.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- OSCE has said that preliminary results showed 37,174 registered voters (34.42%) in Kosovo cast their ballots in Serbia's early parliamentary election.
OSCE Mission Spokesperson Nikola Gaon spoke for Tanjug late on Sunday.

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - OSCE Mission Spokesperson Nikola Gaon stated for Tanjug that according to preliminary results 37,174 voters, or 34.42 pct of the total number, cast their ballots in Serbia's early parliamentary election in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) on Sunday.
Gaon added that no incidents were reported on the day of election.

SNS wins in Belgrade too
BELGRADE - President of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Aleksandar Vucic has said the SNS has won the local election in Belgrade as well, and that they got between 45 and 47 percent of the votes.
He told a news conference at the SNS headquarters he believed the SNS would be able to for the city government on its own, just like the national government.

BELGRADE – A total of 47.35 percent of eligible voters went to the polls in the early local elections in Belgrade by 6 p.m. Sunday, the City Electoral Commission (GIK) said at a press conference.

Over 28,000 voted in Kosovo-Metohija by 6 pm
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - A total of 28,416 voters in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) cast their ballots in Serbia's early parliamentary elections by 6 p.m. on Sunday, and no incidents were reported, OSCE spokesperson Nikola Gaon stated late on Sunday.
Out of this number, 11,552 voters used their voting right in northern KiM, Gaon told Tanjug.

Vulin banned from attending memorial service for slain Serbs
BELGRADE - Serbia's Minister without portfolio for Kosovo-Metohija Aleksandar Vulin has been banned from attending a memorial service for slain Kosovo Serbs that will be held at the St. Nicholas Church in Pristina to mark the tenth anniversary of the March Pogrom, the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija said on Sunday.
