Nearly 7700 US Flights Were Canceled Due to Bad Weather

Nearly 7700 US flights were canceled or postponed yesterday due to a winter storm.

Hundreds of flights have been hit at the busy international airports of New York and Chicago.

The worst is the situation at New York's La Guardia International Airport, where 497 flights were canceled and 89 flights were postponed, the BNR reported.

Enduring failure

The administrative and academic leadership of the National Technical University of Athens (formerly the Athens Polytechnic) bears an enormous amount of responsibility for failing to safeguard the institution's property.

Athens rising

Athens is on the rise as a tourist destination and some observers have even ventured to refer to the Greek capital as the "Berlin of our time."

And this is because Athens has evolved into a city exuding character and dynamism, with a range of alternative options.

This change is primarily due to the diligent efforts of the private sector, given the state's shortcomings.
