Iohannis meets Georgia's Bakhtadze, underscores excellent relations between Romania, Georgia

President Klaus Iohannis on Monday welcomed visiting Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace, praising the excellent quality of the relationships between Romania and Georgia, reflected also in the dynamics of the political dialogue in recent years.

Dancila, Bakhtadze decide speeding up efforts to develop Romania-Georgia tourism

Prime Minister Viorica Dancila had talks with a governmental delegation from Georgia headed by Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, on Monday, at Victoria Palace, where the two officials established to step up efforts to develop tourism between the two countries, considered a field with a huge potential.

Georgian Consulate Opens in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria

A Georgian consulate was opened in Blagoevgrad, a city in south-west Bulgaria earlier in March, reports Georgia Today. 

The opening was marked by a reception attended by Bulgarian officials, diplomats, journalists, Georgian students, Georgia's honorary consul Yuliy Nushev, employees from the Georgian consulate, and representatives from the Diaspora.
