Ana Birchall: Romania remains a trustful partner in supporting Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations
Bucharest, May 27 /Agerpres/ - Romania will continue to be a trustful partner of Georgia, in supporting the European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of the authorities in Tbilisi, Deputy PM Ana Birchall underscored on the occasion of her visit to Georgia, where she participates in the ceremonies celebrating the centenary of Georgia's independence and statality.
Turkey supports Georgia's territorial integrity
Turkish National Defense Minister Nurettin Canikli on May 26 said his country believes Georgia's Abkhazia and South Ossetia disputes can be resolved on the basis of the country's internationally recognized borders. Canikli was in the Georgian capital Tbilisi to attend events on the country's 100th anniversary of its foundation.

Bulgaria and Georgia will cooperate on Antarctica. In Tbilisi, the two countries have negotiated a formal agreement for joint action between the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. Wanted IS Jihadist Killed in Georgia
Georgia says a Chechen jihadist killed in a clash with special forces in the Georgian capital Tbilisi was the suspected organiser of a terror attack on Istanbul airport last year, reported BBC.
Akhmed Chatayev, a member of so-called Islamic State (IS), was among three militants killed during a 20-hour siege in Tbilisi a week ago.
