Georgiadis discusses pending US investments with ambassador
Greece's Development and Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis discussed about American investments in the country which remain pending in a meeting Friday with US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt.
The ambassador noted that there are "important opportunities" to develop trade relations in investments such as the massive development project in Elliniko and the Elefsina shipyards.

Cyprus to repay Russian loan early

Former conservative MP convicted of paying minors for sex
Former New Democracy lawmaker Nikos Georgiadis received a 28-month suspended prison sentence on Tuesday and was fined 20,000 euros after being found guilty by an Athens court of repeatedly paying minors for sex.
The three-member court voted two-to-one in favor of his conviction with no mitigating circumstances.

"We should stop the clock on Brexit, take a pause, postpone the exit," Cyprus Finance Minister Haris Georgiades said Tuesday in an interview with Bloomberg in Brussels.
"'Considering where we are; we fully respect the Brexit decision but exiting without a deal, without an arrangement is unthinkable," Georgiades said.
