US International Development Finance Corp approves $125 mln loan for Elefsis Shipyards
The US International Development Finance Corporation's (DFC) participation in Elefsis Shipyards is currently at $125 million, Development and Investment Minister Adonis Georgiadis said this week.
New logistics hub at Aspropyrgos enters final stage
The Ministerial Committee for Strategic Investments on Tuesday approved the investment plan for the "Hull Logistics Park" by Streem Development that concerns the creation of an ultramodern supply chain and transit complex at Aspropyrgos.
The total budget of the project comes to 244,164,841 euros, creating 3,900 jobs during construction and 1,238 jobs in full operation.
‘Easter Basket’ launched in Greece on Wednesday
The special 'Easter Basket' that offers lower-price traditional Easter foods came into force on Wednesday, which also marked the 23rd week of the 'Household Basket' measure in Greece.
Commenting, Development and Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis said that for 89.95% of the goods included in the basket, prices have either dropped or stayed unchanged. [AMNA]

Georgiadis: Export growth and competitiveness are the future
Development and Investment Minister Adonis Georgiadis on Thursday expressed his conviction that a competitive economy and exports - which export associations say are on track to reach 70 billion euros much sooner than the 2030 target date - are the future for Greece, "as this is the only way to avoid reliving the problems of the past."

No need for another Fuel Pass thanks to drop in prices
Fuel prices are expected to stay low in the coming period while there are no plans for another Fuel Pass subsidy at present, Development and Investment Minister Adonis Georgiadis said in an interview with public broadcaster ERT on Monday.
Named products in Household Basket
The Development Ministry is seeking a formula for the inclusion of more branded products in the Household Basket in an attempt to satisfy the food industry, which has formulated the relevant request, while rendering the Basket more attractive to the average consumer.
