Prosecutor seeks to boost probe into Mati fire tragedy
A senior appeals court prosecutor Yiannis Moraitakis on Wednesday requested a session of judicial officials to assign a special magistrate to oversee the ongoing investigation into last year's disastrous wildfires in Mati, eastern Attica, that killed more than 100 people.
Minister steps in to stop contentious auction

Minister says shop opening every Sunday not on cards
Development and Investment Minister Adonis Georgiadis has denied reports that the government is going to allow all stores to stay open on every Sunday.
"There is no such debate within the ministry. The issue of Sunday openings has been adequately dealt with by the previous government," Georgiadis told Skai TV.
He added that shopowners are divided over the issue.
