The surprise results of 'Justice March'

The aim of the opposition's "justice march" from Ankara to Istanbul was to draw attention to shortcomings and errors in Turkey's justice system, to display the feelings of the people in the face of injustices.

Amnesty International calls on President Erdoğan to release detained activists in video

Amnesty International has called on President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to release 10 human rights activists, including its Turkey head, who were detained in Istanbul on July 5 in a video shared on its Twitter account.The video reminded the president that the organization campaigned for his release 19 years ago when he was arrested for reciting a poem while acting as Istanbul mayor.
