National Bank present new logo, ‘marking new era’
The National Bank of Greece (NBG) presented its new logo in a press conference on Wednesday. Chairman of the Bank's board Gikas Hardouvelis pointed out that the new image of the Bank marks a new era and at the same time highlights the great change that occurred in the bank in recent years.

National Bank of Greece to become ‘platform of cooperations’

Ex-finance minister Gikas Hardouvelis cleared of pothen esches charges
On Monday, June 12, 2017 the Greek Court of Misdemeanors ("Plimeliodikeion" in Greek) unanimously proclaimed Gikas Hardouvelis innocent of all charges regarding his late submission of his Wealth-Report ("Pothen Esches" in Greek) for years 2012 and 2013.
Former finance minister acquitted by Athens court
Gikas Hardouvelis, a former finance minister, was acquitted on Monday of charges for failing to submit a declaration of assets ("pothen esches") form while he served interim premier Lucas Papademos, as an adviser from 2011 to 2012.

Former finance minister faces trial over finances
A council of appeals court judges on Wednesday indicted Gikas Hardouvelis, who was finance minister under the former conservative-led coalition of Antonis Samaras, for failing to submit a declaration of assets ("pothen esches") form.

Former finance minister Gikas Hardouvelis of the conservative New Democracy party is the latest in a line of Greek lawmakers being examined by the parliamentary committee responsible for auditing MPs’ wealth declarations.
