Study: High Caffeine Consumption - Higher Risk of Blinding Eye Disease
Keep a check on your daily intake of caffeine as a new study has found that consuming large amounts of daily caffeine may increase the risk of glaucoma more than three-fold for those with a genetic predisposition to higher eye pressure.
Over 200,000 Bulgarians Suffer from Glaucoma
3.54% of the Bulgarian population or 248 354 people have glaucoma. This is the data, updated at the beginning of March 2018, presented by the Head of the Department of Eye Diseases, Ear, Neck, and Throat Diseases and Oral Surgery Prof. Lachezar Voinov, reported from the Press Center of the Military Medical Academy.

Use, production of medical cannabis may be legalized in Greece
The Health Ministry is set to propose changes to legislation covering the use and production of medicinal cannabis.
Health Minister Andreas Xanthos suggested measures are on the way allowing doctors to prescribe drugs that contain cannabis purely for medical reasons.
