The families of two young Serbs who were killed while bathing in the Bistrica river in Gorazdevac marked the 16th anniversary of their deaths on Tuesday, but a memorial plaque that Serbian officials had announced would be installed was not unveiled.

They were spending a summer day on the banks of the Bistrica River, near their homes in the Serb enclave of Gorazdevac - a village in the western part of Kosovo.
19-year-old Ivan Jovovic, and 12-year-old Pantelija Dakic were killed in the attack.

Marko Djuric was in Gorazdevac on Monday when he said Kosovo Albanian politicians are personally responsible for the safety of Serbs in this enclave.

BELGRADE -- Serbia on Wednesday marks the 11th anniversary of a terrorist attack in Kosovo when two Serb teenagers were murdered and four more wounded.
The incident happened on the bank of the Bistrica River in the Serb enclave of Goraždevac near the town of Peć.
