Reformist Bloc Effort to Form Bulgarian Govt Prompts Mixed Reaction
The nationalist Patriotic Front (PF) coalition has pledged to back a cabinet with the mandate of the Reformist Bloc (RB), the junior partner in the outgoing Bulgarian government.
The RB is due to be handed out a mandate next Monday. If it fails to form a new government and returns the mandate to the President, the county will have an interim cabinet, sliding toward early elections.
BSP To Return Mandate
On Wednesday, BSP will return the mandate and will not participate with its own cadres in a new government within the framework of the current Parliament, announced on BNR the left-wing deputy Georgi Svilenski.

Annual Subsidy for Bulgarian Parties To Remain BGN 11 Per Valid Vote
The annual subsidy for political parties will remain BGN 11 per valid vote and there will be no limit to the amount that can be received. This was decided by MPs when they approved, at second reading, the State Budget Act.

PF's Simeonov: We Are Ready To Form Govt With Most Current Ministers
"We are forced to take up this task and form a government, if the larger parties do not form a cabinet and the president hands us a mandate," said on bTV the leader of the Patriotic Front Valery Simeonov.
He added that it is not good to change ministers in the middle of the mandate and that most of the ministers from the Borisov cabinet will be offered to keep their posts.
