Tsochatzopoulos to return to prison as appeal rejected
An Athens appeals court on Tuesday ordered that former defense minister Akis Tsochatzopoulos be returned to prison after rejecting his appeal against his conviction for money laundering.

Court upholds convictions for Tsochatzopoulos, 15 others
An Athens appeals court on Monday upheld convictions for 16 people including former defense minister Akis Tsochatzopoulos in connection with millions of euros worth of kickbacks from state defense contracts.

ND lawmaker scrapped from party parliamentary group
New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis has removed Katerina Papakosta from the party's parliamentary group for straying from the party line.
Mitsotakis announced his decision in a tweet on Thursday morning saying that he had informed the Parliament Speaker Nikos Voutsis that Papakosta will no longer be a part of New Democracy's parliamentary group.

The president of the Greek main opposition party New Democracy, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, announced on Thursday with an official letter to the President of the Parliament, Nikos Boutsis, that MP Katerina Papakosta is no longer a member of the New Democracy’s Parliamentary group.
The reason for this was that Katerina Papakosta’s statements yesterday in favor of Panos Kammenos.
Revenues, handouts worry creditors
Greece's creditors are expressing reservations over whether the country will achieve a primary budget surplus of 3.5 percent of gross domestic product next year, saying they expect the figure to come in 0.2-0.3 percent of GDP below the target (360-540 million euros).
