Brnabic to represent Serbia at UN SC session

Int'l factor to be complicit in looming humanitarian disaster - Mitrovica hospital director
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - The director of the Clinical and Hospital Centre in the north of Kosovska Mitrovica said on Friday a humanitarian disaster was looming at the hospital without urgent shipments of medicines, medical oxygen and medical supplies and noted that the Pristina authorities would be responsible - and international organisations complicit - if that happened.
UNSC session on UNMIK report rescheduled for October 23
NEW YORK - The UN Security Council session on the next semiannual report on the work of UNMIK, the UN mission in Kosovo-Metohija, will be held on October 23.
The session has been rescheduled from October 18.
Tensions in Serbia's southern province have escalated since the most recent session on the mission's work, held on April 27.
Ziadeh urges restraint, return to dialogue
BELGRADE - During regular consultations in Belgrade, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and UNMIK head Caroline Ziadeh urged restraint "in messages and actions", de-escalation of tensions and a return to political dialogue by Belgrade and Pristina.

Dacic meets with Ziadeh
BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met with UNMIK head Caroline Ziadeh on Wednesday.
The meeting was held in the context of the upcoming UN Security Council session on UNMIK, and they discussed the current situation in Kosovo-Meothija and the atmosphere of heightened tensions, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Vucic: We will request urgent UNSC session over situation in Kosovo-Metohija
NEW YORK - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on Wednesday Belgrade would request that an urgent UN Security Council session be called over the situation in Kosovo-Metohija.
Haradinaj threatens: There will be arrests
Without specifying what he means, he says that he has documents that that party will deliver to the prosecution in the coming days, reports Gazeta 10.
Haradinaj also stated that some other officials were involved in the recently published agreements of the Ministry led by Rosetta Haidari.

Bilateral meeting between Petkovic, Lajcak underway in Brussels
BRUSSELS - A bilateral meeting between the head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic and the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak is underway in Brussels.
The meeting began at around 9.40 am.
Starovic: Turkey's intensive arming of Pristina escalates risks
BELGRADE - State Secretary at the Serbian Defence Ministry Nemanja Starovic said on Tuesday Turkey was working intensively on arming and training the so-called Kosovo's security forces.
Speaking to the RTS, Starovic said this was contrary to UNSCR 1244, the Brussels Agreement and all other relevant agreements.
