The Repair of Popular Grafa Street in the Center of Sofia Starts on May 8th

On May 8, Sofia Municipality undertook the long-awaited reconstruction of Graf Ignatiev Street, Mayor Yordanka Fandakova said. The repair will start from "Alabin" street with the replacement of the plumbing pipes. Tram traffic will be stopped. Buses will carry passengers through Gurko Street. Damage of a Wagon Interrupted the Movement of Some Trams in Sofia

Early this morning, a tramway train failure caused a traffic jam on Graf Ignatiev Street. Around 8 am the tram lines 10, 12 and 18 interrupted their traffic towards the center of Sofia.

The Urban Mobility Center said the problem that caused the accident was removed and the traffic was restored about half an hour later.

Sofia Municipality introduced a change in the organization of the movement in the capital in connection with the installation of the Christmas decoration.

From 00.30 to 4.30 on December 8, it is forbidden to enter road traffic in both directions on "Patriarch Evtimii" Blvd., between the streets "Graf Ignatiev" and "Georgi Sava Rakovski".
