Vladimir Putin honorary citizen of Novi Sad
NOVI SAD - Novi Sad Mayor Milos Vucevic gave an honorary citizen award to Russian President Vladimir Putin, who paid an official visit to Serbia on Thursday.
Members of the Novi Sad city assembly decided to grant Putin the honorary citizen title at the meeting held on January 25, 2008, the release notes.

Putin on visit to Belgrade

Chepurin: Nothing can prevent success of Putin's visit
BELGRADE - Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Serbia on October 16 will be successful, Russia's Ambassador to Belgrade Alexander Chepurin said on Wednesday.
The visit is destined to be a success, and nothing can prevent that success, except maybe rain during the parade, Chepurin told Tanjug.
