Sculptures must be ‘reunited with their brothers and sisters’
"Any holders of Parthenon Sculptures outside Greece should return them forthwith to Athens, where they can be reunited with their brothers and sisters," the distinguished historian of the University of Cambridge, Dr Paul Cartledge, stated in an interview with Kathimerini.

The road to vindication
Claiming the Parthenon Marbles from the British Museum is too serious a historical undertaking to be affected by momentary political flare-ups.
Greece should not be drawn into Britain's domestic electoral games. On the contrary, it must insist on the direction of a logical and feasible formula that will allow the reunification of the monument.

Greek PM to 'persist' with UK over Parthenon Marbles
Greece's prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said Sunday he would push for the return of the Parthenon Marbles when he meets U.K. leader Rishi Sunak in Britain this week.
The sculptures, also known as the Elgin Marbles, were taken from the Parthenon temple at the Acropolis in Athens in the early 19th century by British diplomat Thomas Bruce, the earl of Elgin.
Cycling 3,500 km for reunification of Parthenon Sculptures
Nurse and long-distance cyclist Vasiliki Voutzaki is a member of an eight-person team that embarked on an endurance challenge a few days ago with a noble goal: to cover the distance from the British Museum to the Acropolis Museum, spanning 3,500 kilometers, on bicycles, while carrying the message of the reunification of the Parthenon Sculptures.
