SYRIZA trailing ND by 14.5 points, poll shows

SYRIZA is trailing New Democracy by 14.5 percentage points, according to a new survey carried out by Public Issue which was released Wednesday.

According to the survey, which was carried out from 1 to 14 February, 39 percent of respondents said they would vote for the conservative opposition compared to 24.5 percent for the incumbent leftists.

ND holds strong lead over SYRIZA, three years after change

The main opposition party, conservative New Democracy, is maintaining a steady lead over ruling leftist SYRIZA, according to a new opinion poll carried out by Public Issue which puts ND 15.5 percentage points ahead. 

According to the survey, if elections were to be held now, 37 percent of respondents would vote for ND, compared to 21.5 percent for SYRIZA.

New poll gives ND opposition a sturdy lead

A new public opinion poll carried out by the University of Macedonia for Skai puts conservative New Democracy 13 percentage points ahead of leftist SYRIZA, which leads the ruling coalition.

According to the findings of the survey, 30.5 percent of voters would back ND if elections were held now compared to 17.5 percent for SYRIZA.
