Greenhouse gas levels in atmosphere hit new high: UN
Surging levels of carbon dioxide sent greenhouse gases in the atmosphere to a new record in 2013, while oceans, which absorb the emissions, have become more acidic than ever, the UN said on Tuesday.

Bulgaria and Romania With Highest Reduction of Carbon Emissions
Bulgaria and Romania were the EU countries who posted highest reduction of carbon emissions in 2013, shows an Eurostat survey.
According to the data, in 2013 they decreased in 22 member states.
In Bulgaria the drop was 10.2% and in Romania – 14.6%. The average for the EU was -2.5%.

In February 2014, a monthly decrease of 22.2% is recorded for the production of solid fuels, the latest data on production and deliveries of energy products showed.
