Bucharest Best Comedy Film 2020, which will take place between December 1 and 10, can be watched on the ComedyEst television channel, a premiere in the world of film festivals. The "Grigore Vasiliu Birlic" Cultural Association, which organizes the event, proposes at this second edition a tour of the world from 10 different cinematographic perspectives.

Fire fighters with the Emergency Situations' Inspectorate (ISUBIF) in the past 24 hours intervened to 399 urgency situations, namely 323 SMURD (Emergency Mobile Resuscitation and Extrication Service) ones, 31 fires, 45 of other nature, a value over the daily average recorded in this period of the year, a release by the ISUBIF sent Wednesday to AGERPRES reads.

Reading winger Adrian Popa will mark his two-year Royals anniversary in Bulgaria, with reigning champions Ludogorets Razgrad, report the BBC. 

Popa joined the Championship side from Romanian giants Steaua Bucharest in January 2017 but has spent his Reading career largely out of favour.

The two teams representing Romania to the 13th edition of the European Union Science Olympiad (EUSO), carried out in Klagenfurt (Austria), over April 26-May 3, conquered one silver and one bronze medal.

A version of Victor Eftimiu's magic poem 'Insir'te margarite' (String, pearl!) adapted and directed by actor Dan Puric premiered on Saturday evening in the Grand Hall of the National Theatre of Bucharest (TNB) after four years of renovation works on the building.
