Serbia’s Q4 2022 GDP up by 0.4 pct in real terms
BELGRADE - Serbia's real GDP at constant prices was up by 0.4 pct y-o-y in Q4 2022, the Serbian national statistical office RZS said in a flash estimate released on Tuesday.
The RZS also said a more detailed GDP calculation for Q4 2022, performed at lower aggregation levels, would be published on February 28.

BELGRADE - Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said on Wednesday Serbia was an example of a responsible fiscal and monetary policy, as also testified by praise from the IMF.

Turkish economy grew 7.6 percent in second quarter
The GDP growth accelerated from 7.3 percent in the first quarter of 2022 to 7.6 percent in the April-June period, data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) have showed.
On a seasonally and calendar adjusted basis, the economy grew 2.1 percent in the second quarter from January-March, up from the quarterly growth of 0.7 percent recorded in the previous quarter.

Bulgaria: The Economy Grew by nearly 5% before the Start of Summer
In the April-June period, the economy grew by 4.8% compared to the second quarter of the previous year, NSI reported. Compared to the first three months of the year, the gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 1.1%. This is shown by the seasonally adjusted data on express assessments.

OECD lifts growth forecast for Turkey to 3.7 percent
The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) upgraded its economic growth forecast for the Turkish economy for 2022 to 3.7 percent from a previous 3.3 percent, while cutting the its estimate for next year from 3 percent from 3.9 percent.

Growth, inflation data due this week
Authorities will release crucial economic data this week, including growth for the first quarter and inflation for May.
On May 31, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) will release the gross domestic product (GDP) figures for January-March.
