PM Ponta: The President does not know fiscal and budgetary ABC

In relation to his talks on Monday with President Traian Basescu on cuts in social security contributions (CAS), Prime Minister Victor Ponta on Tuesday said that what generated an understanding problem there was not the term MTO mentioned by Basescu, but the English accent of the President, adding that he knows precisely what Romania's obligations are.

PM Ponta: I don't have a gov't reshuffle planned, but there could be changes

Prime Minister Victor Ponta said in an interview with Evenimentul zilei daily that, although he doesn't have any government reshuffle planned for the next period, there could be some unplanned changes in the government.

Asked about a possible reshuffle, Ponta said: 'No, there is no one in particular that I have in mind. There could be such unplanned changes, though.'
