The results of the four-yearly survey, in which 96,000 school students in 35 countries took part, reveal that while teenage smoking and drinking are showing signs of decline, there are new concerns about the dangers of excessive screen time and new psychoactive drugs.
Bid to enforce, extend smoking ban
On the occasion of World No Smoking Day on Tuesday, the Hellenic Anti-cancer Institute has called on the government to redouble efforts to enforce an anti-smoking ban in restaurants, bars and other public places but also to extend the ban to children's playgrounds, beaches and squares.

Bulgaria MPs Adopt Ban on Flavored Tobacco
Bulgarian lawmakers on Thursday adopted on second reading changes to tobacco legislation banning the sale of tobacco with specific flavor and aroma qualities.
Tobacco used to manually roll cigarettes will only be allowed on the market if it has "natural" aroma or flavor and contains no additional vitamins or caffeine that gives it additional colors.
