EMY: Mild temperatures with storms and wind until Monday
Local storms with strong wind and mild temperatures are forecast from late afternoon on Sunday until the evening hours of Monday.
The eastern and southern parts of the country expect local heavy rains and storms, hail and strong gusty winds.
Bad weather forecast for weekend
Heavy rains and storms, accompanied by hail in some places, as well as southerly winds that will reach up to force 7 will characterize the weather over the coming weekend from Friday, weather forecasters at the National Observatory of Athens's meteo.gr service have said.

Dangerous weather phenomena across Greece starting Monday
The National Meteorological Service (EMY) warned of a significant drop in temperature, thunderstorms, hail, and strong winds across Greece starting this Monday until Wednesday.
A low-pressure system is arriving from the north Balkans with a cold air mass which will reach the south Ionian Sea and affect most areas in Greece.
No end to destructive thunderstorms
Slovenia has seen yet another wave of destructive thunderstorms as severe winds, large hail and torrential rains have been pummelling the country almost non-stop for the past two weeks. Damage is still being assessed but reports say it will exceed the €420 million caused in the devastating ice storm in 2014.

As they pointed out, it will be especially warm in the central and southern part of the country, where it will be even warmer than yesterday - from 37 to 40 degrees Celsius.
In umadija, Pomoravlje, eastern, southeastern, southwestern Serbia and on Kosovo and Metohija, a red weather alert is in effect, indicating very dangerous weather.

The first is a warning for the area of Serbia for high temperatures (for July 25).
"Tomorrow will also be very warm, especially in central and southern Serbia, where it will be even warmer than today - from 37 to 40 degrees," it said.

Although Vojvodina was the most affected in the previous days, yesterday the storm hit other parts of Serbia as well.
In Belgrade, the storm, accompanied by heavy rain and thunder, affected some parts of the city, but it was less intense than the previous nights. Parts of the city remained without electricity for a short time.
New dramatic warnings for Serbia: Will it be even worse than on Wednesday?
According to the RHMZ, we are expecting strong thunderstorm activity, hail, gale-force winds and even hurricane-force winds.
"The area from the Alps, through the Western Balkans and Serbia to the Carpathian region is expecting strong thunderstorm activity today and tomorrow.

Yellow and Orange Rain Codes have been announced in 15 Provinces in Central and Eastern Bulgaria
A yellow and orange code for short-term and temporarily intense rainfall was issued for 15 provinces in Eastern and Central Bulgaria on Friday (July 7). Orange is the code for three provinces - Veliko Tarnovo, Targovishte, Shumen, and yellow for the rest. There are also conditions for hail. This is according to the forecast of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology.
