Syrians live outdoors in Turkey's resort town of Bodrum
Hundreds of Syrian refugees have been living outdoors in Turkey?s southern resort town of Bodrum, while locals have expressed both their sympathy and their concerns, fearing the situation could negatively impact tourism.
Bodrum Castle's 'painted' ottoman cannon cleaned
The Istanbul Restoration and Conservation Center, affiliated with the Culture and Tourism Ministry, has started work cleaning 600-year-old cannons at the Bodrum Castle.
The walls and Ottoman cannons of one of the world?s leading museums, the Bodrum Underwater Archaeology Museum in the Bodrum Castle, were found to have been painted June 2014.

13 people arrested for human trafficking in ?zmir
Thirteen people allegedly operating human trafficking activities were arrested in the western province of ?zmir early April 23, after many migrants were rescued illegally en route to the European Union.
A total of 13 of 17 people who were detained on April 22 on allegations of human smuggling have been arrested by a ?zmir court after being interrogated at the prosecution office.

Salvage excavations start in Bodrum
Salvage excavations have started in the western province of Mu?la's Bodrum district after ancient tombs were unearthed during drilling works in a construction area.
The tombs are believed to have been the necropolis of Halicarnassus.
