Yachts race for parking spot in tourism hotspot Bodrum
People in droves have thronged to the famous resort town of Bodrum in the southwestern province of Muğla on the Aegean coast during the long Eid al-Adha holiday, causing traffic jams on the roads.
With yacht owners racing for a good spot to anchor their vessels in surrounding bays during their stay, the town's shoreline has become overcrowded as well.

Scores of visitors throng Turkey’s resort towns
Turkey's resort towns are experiencing an influx of vacationers amid the Eid al-Adha holiday, which was extended to nine days, including weekends, officials have said.
Traffic jams are still ubiquitous on major routes mostly in the Aegean provinces, while scores of people thronged to popular summer destinations to spend the holiday to enjoy sunny weather, sea and beach.

Works have been ongoing precisely in an area where a sarcophagus and many other simple-type tombs have been discovered in the southwestern province of Bodrum's Muğla district.
