Quake-hit provinces to get priority in land project: Kurum
Within the scope of the İlk Evim Arsa (My First Home Land) Project, quake-affected provinces will get the priority, Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum has said.

Learning after a decade that her son was in Algeria, a Syrian woman living in the southern province of Hatay has brought her son back to Türkiye with a passport immediately issued by the Interior Ministry.
Poachers kill forest officer protecting snake eagles
In an effort to protect snake eagles from being hunted by poachers, an officer in the southern province of Hatay's Nature Conservation and National Parks (DKMP) lost his life while another got severely injured as poachers opened fire on them.
The gendarmerie units have started searching for the runaway poachers who killed Mehmet Ali Koşar and wounded Mehmet Atıcı.
More neighborhoods to be closed to foreigners, says minister
More neighborhoods in provinces across Turkey will be closed to foreigners due to a quota to be introduced starting next month, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu has announced.
Some 781 locations where the population of foreigners exceeded 25 percent of the local population have already been banned for foreigners, Soylu added.

Over 193,000 Syrians became Turkish citizens: Minister
To date, more than 193,000 Syrians have become Turkish citizens, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu has said, accusing Europe of overlooking the migration issue.
He noted that around 3.7 million Syrians live in Turkey under international protection and more than 700,000 Syrian children were born in the country.
