The Hellenic Fire service said in a Tweet on Monday that a minor has been found dead during an operation to extingush a fire that broke out at the Moria refugee and migrant camp earlier in the afternoon. 

New York postponed the annual St. Patrick's Day parade, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said, days after other events in US cities were canceled because of the global coronavirus pandemic, AFP reported.

Only fog, fog that has to do with air pollution or "just" smog, has been an issue that has plagued Belgraders for days.

Mass evacuation in Australia. Thousands of people are leaving their homes because of the forest fires and the warning that the fires will spread in the coming days. The evacuation has already begun on the New South Wales coast and has been identified as the largest in the region's history.

A scorching heatwave intensified bushfires ravaging parts of Australia on Dec. 21, and out-of-control blazes surrounding Sydney worsened under "catastrophic" conditions.    

Australia's eastern coast has been hit by a record-breaking heatwave, which has moved in from the west of the country, fanning hundreds of fires in its path.    

Space satellites are increasingly required to maneuver to avoid possible collisions and damage with increasing amounts of space debris, according to DPA, citing astronaut and European Space Agency (ESA) coordinator Thomas Reiter.

The situation has worsened significantly in recent decades and is not expected to change in the future, Reiter notes.

The victims of the devastating fires raging in Australia since Friday are now four, TASS and France Press reported, citing the latest police figures.

A man's body was found near the town of Kempsey, in southeastern New South Wales. He is believed to be a 58-year-old resident who has not been seen since Friday.

At least 19 people were killed and three were injured in a fire that broke out early Monday at a production facility in eastern China's Zhejiang province.

The fire broke out at a consumer goods factory shortly after 1:00 pm local time. Despite the rapid response of emergency teams, there are many casualties, BGNES reported.

A fire that threatened homes at the coastal town of Lagonissi south of the Greek capital Athens was contained before it damaged residences, the fire brigade said.
Earlier on Friday the fire brigade ordered the evacuation of residents in the coastal suburb, about 30 km (20 miles) south of Athens.

Hundreds have been evacuated due to major fires in Australia. Thousands of acres are burning, and in many places the fire is completely out of control, despite the attempts for its extinguishment. The federal government has sent planes to assist ground teams.
