Death Toll from Warehouse Explosions in China's Tianjin Rises

The two explosions, which occurred at a warehouse in the northern Chinese port city of Tianjin on Wednesday night, claimed the lives of at least seventeen people and left hundreds others injured.

According to media reports, the explosions hit a warehouse storing "dangerous and chemical goods" in the port area of the city, the BBC informs.

Three injured in hotel explosion in eastern Turkey

Three people were injured in an explosion on the sixth floor of a hotel in the eastern province of Elaz?? on July 24. 

Initial reports said the explosion, the cause of which had not been officially determined, injured three individuals, who were hospitalized immediately. Natural gas company officials took measures in case the explosion occurred due to an unnoticed gas leak.

Fuel Oil Spill Noticed Near Bulgaria's Varna

A massive fuel oil spill has been spotted near Bulgaria's Black Sea city of Varna.

Employees of the yacht harbor in town have noticed the spill and started calling local institutions immediately. Several fo them have said that similar events are not uncommon.

The yacht harbor is located immediately next to the Ship Authority Port, where luxurious passenger ships anchor.
