COVID-19 in Bulgaria: 51 New Cases in the Last 24 hours

According to the data of the Unified Information Portal, in the past 24 hours, 51 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Bulgaria, and there were no deaths.

9 people have been hospitalized, and the total number of people hospitalized with the infection to date is 353, with 35 in intensive care units.

No deaths, 327 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday

Ljubljana – Slovenia confirmed 327 cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, 17% fewer than the same day a week ago. No patient with confirmed infection died yesterday, according to the Health Ministry. Thirty-six patients were hospitalised for Covid-19 as their main condition this morning, including three in intensive care.

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Bulgaria is 587,765. The active cases are 90,543.

Week-on-week coronavirus case count more than doubles to 1,500

Ljubljana – Almost 1,500 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Slovenia on Saturday in what is an increase of 138% week-on-week, while the positivity rate increased on a daily basis by more than three percentage points to 33.5%, the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) reported.

Epidemiologist and member of the Crisis Staff, Dr Branislav Tiodorovic, said that doctors suggested switching to online classes for at least ten days, but as that proposal was not adopted, he does not expect the epidemiological situation to stabilize since the number of infected children is growing in Serbia.
