Turkey-England travels resume as mandatory quarantine ends

The long-awaited compulsory quarantine-free travel between Turkey and England resumed on Sept. 22 after Turkey was removed from the COVID-19 travel red list last week.

As of 4 a.m. (0300 GMT), all those arriving from Turkey will no longer need to self-isolate in a designated hotel, which was a mandatory process before.

New Anti-Epidemic Measures Come Into Force Today

The new measures for prevention against coronavirus come into force today.

Restaurants, bars, and gambling halls will be open from 07:00 to 23:00, with up to 6 people at a table, at a distance of one and a half meters. The nightclubs will not work.

Gyms will be able to use 30% of their seats.

There will be no music festivals and team building.

CMBSU: Indoor activity of restaurants and cafes, banned

The Bucharest Municipality Committee for Emergency Situations (CMBSU) has decided in its Sunday meeting to ban the indoor activities of restaurants and cafes, taking into account the over 3 per thousand incidence rate of COVID-19 cases in the Capital city. The measures will come into effect as of March 8, at midnight, for a 14-day period, and will be reassessed at the end of this interval.
