Vaccinations down by 70 pct among Greek teens

Greece is among many countries around the world that has seen discontinuation of vaccinations during the coronavirus pandemic. 

According to estimates by the World Health Organization (WHO) based on sales data, the drop in many countries in March and April was to the tune of 30-50 percent for young children and up to 70 percent for teenagers.

Testing of the malaria drug as a possible treatment for coronavirus has been halted because of safety fears, the World Health Organization (WHO) says.

Trials in several countries are being "temporarily" suspended as a precaution, the agency said on Monday.

It comes after a recent medical study suggested the drug could increase the risk of patients dying from Covid-19.

New Financial Scheme for Medium-Sized Enterprises

From BGN 30,000 to BGN 100,000 grants under the new scheme of the Operational Program "Innovation and Competitiveness" will be received by medium-sized enterprises affected by the quarantine. 

This is clear from the documents published for public discussion to the procedure "Support for medium-sized enterprises to overcome the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic".
