Thessaloniki police search for armed raiders
Police in Thessaloniki Wednesday were seeking the perpetrators behind a street kiosk heist in the northern port city in the early hours of the morning.
According to the police, the robbery was carried out by two masked assailants, one of whom was wielding a gun.
The perpetrators fled with an undetermined sum in takings as well as sundry goods.

Two anarchists arrested last Wednesday following a thwarted heist on a money delivery van outside Thessaloniki's AHEPA Hospital were remanded in custody on Tuesday after defending themselves before an investigating magistrate.

Maziotis aide linked to Trikala heist
Police have have redoubled their efforts to trace Spyros Dravilas, a 34-year-old being sought in connection with armed robberies involving jailed Revolutionary Struggle leader Nikos Maziotis, after an investigation pointed to Dravilas?s involvement in a heist last Thursday on a bank branch in the small town of Farkadona, near Trikala, central Greece.
