A brothel in Vienna offers vaccination against COVID-19 in exchange for a free 30-minute session with a lady of your choice. The promotion will run for four hours every Monday in November and is an attempt to encourage men to get immunized.

They acknowledged that booster shots may eventually be needed for the general population if vaccine-induced immunity wanes even further

Turkey must speed up its COVID-19 inoculation drive and reach the vaccination rate of 70 percent to maintain herd immunity immediately, Republican People's Party (CHP) spokesperson Faik Öztrak said on Aug. 9.

The Turkish-German scientist who co-developed the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine said on March 8 the "grand mission" is "herd immunity" with enough jabs administered to tame the virus.  

In achieving this goal, Dr. Özlem Türeci stressed that no one will be safe until everyone is safe.
